Position: Full Time School Technologist in Alberta
Rocky View Schools is seeking a full-time School Technologist to support educational technology across its campuses in Alberta. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining hardware, and enhancing communication for students and staff.

As a key player within Rocky View Schools, the School Technologist will provide vital technology support in a dynamic school environment. Your expertise with computer hardware, operating systems, and educational software will directly impact the learning experience for over 29,000 students. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential as you will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure the smooth operation of school tech assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily technical support to staff and students

• Maintain and update school technology hardware and software

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly

• Organize and prioritize workload based on school demands

• Assist in the planning and installation of technology in schools

Requirements:

• A+ Certification in computer hardware/software required

• 2+ years of computer technical support experience preferred

• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license for site travel
