Yard Team Member-Didsbury, AB-Westview Co-op

What you’ll do:

The Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand.

• Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program
• Providing Exceptional Service to our Members and Guests and living our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto
• General merchandising and delivery of products
• Accurate ordering of product
• Load/unload product
• Ensure high level of location image in line with our Brand expectations
• Other projects and assignments as required

This position requires the use of equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and stock carts, as well as heavy lifting of product.

• Physically capable of performing the duties of the role. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Willingness to participate in a Criminal Record Background Check
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required;
  Class 3 License considered an asset
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification
• Previous lumber supply experience is considered an asset

This is a full-time position, requiring availability to work days, evenings, and weekends, totaling approximately 40 hours per week.
