Category Analyst Position at FortisAlberta

This full-time role reports to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Operations. You will create and implement category strategies, manage supplier performance, and analyze market intelligence. Your insights will support decision-making that boosts commercial value and mitigates risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement category strategies for supply chain portfolios

• Lead sourcing activities including RFx development

• Manage full contract lifecycle from development to close-out

• Analyze supplier performance and market risks

• Provide direction to Buyers for contract execution

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

• Minimum 5 years in procurement category management

• Proven experience in supplier and contract management

• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement governance

• Proficiency with ERP and procurement technologies
