Maintenance Supervisor; Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support the Production Supervisor or Planner in production-related activities and initiatives to improve productivity.
• Coordinate and monitor daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify repair and maintenance needs.
• Assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and train newly hired technicians.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance services.
• Train staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency maintenance situations.

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking staff.
• Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a related technical role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
