Position: Building Operator III - Rocky View Schools
Rocky View Schools is searching for a dedicated Building Operator III to support evening cleaning and maintenance efforts. This full-time role plays a critical part in ensuring schools are well-maintained for students and staff.

As a Building Operator III, you will oversee cleaning operations at Ranch View and Mitford Schools.

Your role emphasizes caretaking tasks while being responsible for minor maintenance and security of the facilities. You will engage in teamwork while exhibiting strong supervisory skills to lead a team effectively. A comprehensive understanding of cleaning procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage actively in maintaining cleanliness across school facilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning activities among caretakers

• Report any property defects to the Head Building Operator

• Manage snow and ice clearance at entrances and sidewalks

• Monitor system operations and report issues as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years’ supervisory experience in a similar role

• 3-5 years of hands-on caretaking experience

• Alberta operator’s license (class
5) required

• Relevant certifications are beneficial
