Be a part of Big Country Equipment's team in BC as a Maintenance Planner for heavy equipment. Focus on scheduling maintenance tasks to ensure machinery is always operational.
This full-time position, requiring 3-5 years in maintenance planning, involves working with crucial mining and construction equipment. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining equipment history records. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage maintenance plans for heavy equipment
• Use CMMS, SAP, or similar software for scheduling
• Work closely with staff to document maintenance tasks
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance records
• Coordinate maintenance with minimal operational disruption
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years in maintenance planning, preferably in mining
• Familiarity with heavy equipment maintenance practices
• Proficiency in scheduling software like SAP
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities
• Must have Trade certification or equivalent experience
