On Call Caretaker in Springbank Area

Join Rocky View Schools as an On Call Casual Caretaker in the Springbank area. This role involves routine cleaning and maintaining safe environments in our schools.

We invite applications for the on-call, casual Caretaker I position for the  school year. As a caretaker, you will work based on an as-needed schedule and must be available for at least eight instructional days monthly. Your duties include cleaning tasks and securing school premises as instructed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning in designated areas

• Maintain sidewalks and entrances free from ice and snow

• Conduct building security checks as scheduled

• Work independently or as part of a team

• Follow Occupational Health & Safety and WHMIS guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset

• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required
