Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Position: Housekeeper Role
Support daily operations at Optima Living in Airdrie as a Housekeeper committed to cleanliness and resident safety. Ensure high standards for a supportive living environment.

In this vital role, you will report to the Housekeeping Manager and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Your work will include performing tasks such as mopping, dusting, and tidying living areas, while also responding to specific cleaning requests. You will play a key role in adhering to safety and infection control measures and maintaining confidentiality in resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming and mopping

• Sanitize restrooms and change linens as needed

• Keep common areas orderly and well-maintained

• Handle cleaning materials safely and efficiently

• Report any safety concerns to management

Requirements:

• Experience in a residential care or hospitality setting preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong organizational capabilities

• Ability to manage demanding situations gracefully

• Must pass background checks and health requirements
