Position: Evening Building Operator at Rocky View Schools
Join Rocky View Schools as a Building Operator III, working afternoons in Airdrie, Alberta. Lead custodial services in schools while ensuring cleanliness and security.

This full-time position involves supervising caretaking tasks at Ecole Edwards Elementary, George McDougal High School, and RVS Community Learning Centre. You'll oversee cleaning duties, manage school security, and maintain building systems.

Your role is crucial for providing a safe, sanitary learning environment for over 29,000 students in the division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute janitorial duties, focusing on cleaning duties

• Report school property defects and damages promptly

• Coordinate cleaning tasks among caretakers

• Maintain safety on sidewalks by clearing ice and snow

• Ensure correct operation of heating and plumbing systems

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years supervisory experience in caretaking

• 3-5 years caretaking/cleaning experience

• Valid Alberta operator’s license (class
5)

• Valid Building Operator A/B Ticket or 5th Class Power Engineering
