Location: Town of Crossfield
Make a difference as a Cleaning Specialist in the Central Kitchen. Your focus will be on maintaining cleanliness while adhering to safety standards in this engaging role.
This Cleaning Specialist role requires diligence and a commitment to maintaining the Central Kitchen's cleanliness. You will perform various tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing floors, and ensuring recycling procedures are followed, all while actively contributing to a cooperative environment. Following HACCP standards is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness of warehouse, equipment, and surroundings
• Sweep and scrub floors, managing garbage effectively
• Handle preparation and recycling of materials
• Follow all relevant safety standards
• Maintain MSDS Catalogues as needed
Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently
• Occasional lifting capabilities up to 40 pounds
• Availability for night shifts and weekends
• No prior experience required, but warehouse exposure is a plus
• Comfortable working in temperatures of 1-4°C
