As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day production operations across our facilities to ensure efficiency, safety, and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise, and control production activities to meet scheduled targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop production staff to attain high performance and engagement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Monitor production metrics and generate reports to inform management decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation.
  • Manage resources effectively, including workforce scheduling and equipment utilisation.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience as a Production Manager or similar role within the food processing industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety standards, HACCP processes, and quality control principles.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse production data and drive improvements based on insights.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate production demands.
  • Relevant qualifications in production management or food technology are desirable.
  • Working to a 4 on 4 off Shift pattern
