As part of the Fabrication Shops team at Propak, your responsibilities will involve reading drawings, operating machinery, and fabricating sheet metal products. Under the mentorship of skilled professionals, you will gain hands-on experience fitting and installing various systems, ensuring optimal quality and adherence to standards throughout your apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate engineering drawings into marked sheet metal
• Use machinery like shears and drills for fabrication tasks
• Join and fit sheet metal components using welding techniques
• Install products meeting building codes and standards
• Inspect final outputs for quality assurance
Requirements:
• Must be a registered or eligible apprentice
• High motivation for learning practical skills
• Required agreements to be signed upon hiring
• Education in Sheet Metal or a related trade
• Willingness to accept and follow instructions
