Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Journeyman B-Pressure Welder in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in Calgary, Alberta.
Join a leading fabrication shop in Calgary as a B-Pressure Welder, working on high-quality heat transfer and combustion equipment. Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions provided by supervisors and lead hands
- Perform welding using TIG, MIG, Stick, and Metal Core processes
- Meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
- Interpret shop drawings and welding procedures accurately
- Complete fitting and welding tasks safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets company tolerances and specifications
- Operate shop equipment including cranes, forklifts, and rigging
- Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures
Successful candidates will have:
- Hold a valid Alberta Journeyman Welding Certificate
- Hold an active B-Pressure Welding Certificate
- Demonstrate strong TIG welding skills in shop environments
- Bring experience with pressure piping welding projects
- Interpret technical drawings and welding procedures effectively
- Operate fabrication shop equipment safely and confidently
- Show ability to perform ambidextrous TIG welding as an asset
- Pass required weld tests including 3” Sch 80 TIG and MIG procedures
