Assemblers, Manufacturing / Production
* Multiple assembly positions open across all shifts (day, afternoon, night)*
In this job you will be responsible for assembling together parts, according to drawings and procedures, with a variety of hand/power tools and fasteners.
As an Assembler you will:
- Perform a variety of subassembly and final assembly operations of products that are of variable shapes and sizes
- Follow specified/established methods and procedures required to make designated assemblies involving the use of hand and power tools and test equipment
- Ensure job meets all requirements before leaving work center
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Contribute to team effort by training others in performance of basic assembly tasks, as needed
- Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of one (1) year working experience in an assembler position
- Is able to safely use small hand and power tools
- Has previous experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- Has demonstrated working knowledge of blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and bill of materials
- Has demonstrated ability of use of small hand and power tools
- Has basic computer skills
We prefer someone who:
- Technical College/University graduate in electrical or mechanical studies is an asset
- Demonstrated basic electrical knowledge

Lifting Demands
- Lift up to 40 lbs. on an frequent basis floor to waist
- Lift up to 40 lbs. on a occasional basis floor to chest
- Carry up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 25 feet
- Push/pull up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis
Postural Demands
- Lifting – continuous
- Griping, manipulation, fingering – frequent to continuous
- Variable hand/power tool use – frequent
- Two-person lifting tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts and hoists
What we offer you:
Pay Range is typically between $18.22 to $23.63 per hour
