TC Energy seeks a Red Seal Journeyperson Machinist with five years of manual machining experience. The work includes conventional machine tools, precision measurement, mechanical repair, and interpretation of engineering drawings. Practical solutions support reliable service for industrial compressors, turbines, engines, and auxiliary systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and boring mills
- Manufacture, repair, modify, and restore equipment components
- Measure components and verify dimensional tolerances
- Support equipment disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly
- Mentor apprentices and maintain organized work areas
- Red Seal Journeyperson Machinist Certification
- Five years of manual machining operations experience
- Knowledge of fit, tolerancing, measurement, and repair machining
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, manuals, and reports
- Ability to work within tolerances of ±0.001 inch or better
