Registered Nurse, Southbridge Care Homes

Become a Registered Nurse with Southbridge Care Homes and provide exceptional care across Ontario. Participate actively in care assessments and support team initiatives focused on continuous nursing practice improvement.

In this part-time role, you will report to the Director of Care and be integral to resident care management. This includes monitoring vital signs, developing care plans, and leading nursing staff training. Your involvement will ensure that care delivery meets regulatory standards and enhances residents' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications while maintaining nursing standards

• Assist in developing and evaluating resident care plans

• Train and evaluate nursing and personal care staff

• Prepare for RAI MDS assessments and compliance

• Assume facility management duties when needed

Requirements:

• Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registration with Registered Nurses Association of Ontario

• Experience in long-term care and knowledge of infection control

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Completion of due diligence checks prior to hire
