Are you a midwife looking for a supportive, collaborative team where you can practice with autonomy, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to client choice?
Airdrie Midwives is seeking a passionate and collaborative Registered Midwife to join our established team in Airdrie, Alberta. This is a full-time position on a three-midwife call rotation, with privileges in Calgary.
Established in 2017 as a satellite of Birth Partnership Midwives, Airdrie Midwives serves primarily Airdrie and surrounding rural communities. We provide full-scope, relationship-based maternity care in a practice that values continuity, informed choice, and supporting each other in creating a sustainable midwifery practice.

A strong out-of-hospital birth practice — approximately 40% of our births occur out of hospital
Births at the Arbour Birth Centre
Hospital births at Rockyview General Hospital (RGH)
Full-scope midwifery care from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum
A three-midwife team with a strong focus on sustainable practice
Shared call responsibilities designed with sustainability and work/life balance in mind
Excellent interdisciplinary relationships with nursing and obstetric colleagues at RGH, and 24/7 onsite midwife support with the In-House Midwifery Program.
Administrative support so you can focus on client care
An established client base within Airdrie and surrounding communities
We’re Looking For Someone Who   Is registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Midwives of Alberta
Is a General Registrant or New Registrant
Values continuity of care, informed choice, and client autonomy
Enjoys out-of-hospital birth and community-based midwifery
Enjoys working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Is compassionate, organized, and committed to exceptional client-centered care
Contributes positively to a supportive and collegial team environment
