Oversee daily operations and enhance customer service as a Shift Supervisor at The Salvation Army. Engage with customers and manage transactions while supporting store activities.
This permanent full-time role assists the Store Manager in maintaining operational excellence in the Thrift Store environment. You'll interact positively with donors and customers, handle cash transactions, and ensure the integrity of donated items. Your effective teamwork and supervisory skills will contribute significantly to meeting store budgets and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact courteously with customers and donors
• Ensure accurate handling of cash and debit sales
• Open and close the store following protocols
• Maintain product integrity during sorting and processing
• Assist in layout planning to enhance store appeal
Requirements:
• Two years of store or warehouse experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically capable of handling 30 lbs frequently
• Understanding of The Salvation Army's mission
• Completion of some high school
