Lead store operations as a Shift Supervisor with The Salvation Army. This full-time role emphasizes customer engagement, inventory management, and team leadership in a mission-driven environment.
Your primary responsibility as a Shift Supervisor will involve ensuring a positive customer experience while managing daily store functions. You will need to demonstrate robust communication skills, oversee inventory control, and maintain store security. This role includes opening and closing the store, processing transactions, and supervising store associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact positively with customers and donors
• Process cash and debit sales accurately
• Oversee inventory sorting, pricing, and stocking
• Ensure store security and compliance with policies
• Maintain a tidy and organized store appearance
Requirements:
• Completion of some high school education
• Two years of relevant experience in retail or warehouse
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
