Position: Shift Supervisor at The Salvation Army
Support the operations at The Salvation Army's thrift store in Airdrie, Alberta as a Shift Supervisor. Engage positively with customers and oversee store activities while maintaining service standards.

This full-time role assists the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring customer interactions are positive and effective. Key responsibilities include handling transactions accurately, maintaining store security, and managing donations efficiently. You will lead staff in the absence of the Store Manager and contribute to store layouts, inventory management, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and staff in store opening/closing

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

• Maintain store security and monitor customer activity

• Manage donations and ensure quality standards are met

• Assist in store layout and visually appealing merchandise display

Requirements:

• Completion of some high school education

• Two years experience in retail or warehouse environments

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs regularly

• Comply with health and safety regulations
