Assistant Store Manager for Thrift Store

Become an integral part of The Salvation Army as the Assistant Store Manager in Airdrie. Support store operations and enhance customer experiences while embracing our mission of service.
This permanent full-time position works directly under the Store Manager/Corps Officer, focusing on operational efficacy and customer service excellence. Candidates will oversee safety, assist in store layout, and handle staff training and performance feedback. You will also play an essential role in promoting the store's offerings and managing cash operations securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise safety protocols for staff and customers

• Help plan and maintain attractive store layouts

• Address customer concerns promptly and effectively

• Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures

• Manage inventory control and sorting of donations
Requirements:

• Required two years of retail experience

• Experience with cash management processes important

• Demonstrated organizational and leadership capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Relevant post-secondary education in Retail Management preferred
