Bankhouse Dental Practice is a well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice located in Airdrie, just 12 miles from Glasgow with excellent transport links. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dentistry and patient-centred care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We are now seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and experienced team and support our growing patient base.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hygienist who is passionate about delivering outstanding preventive care and patient education within a mixed-practice setting.

• Carry out comprehensive oral health assessments
• Provide high-quality dental hygiene treatments including scaling, polishing, and professional cleans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with dentists and the wider practice team
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
• Operate and maintain dental equipment
• Keep up to date with current dental hygiene practices and CPD requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
• Current GDC registration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Confident in delivering a wide range of hygiene procedures
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong knowledge of infection control and compliance standards
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings or weekends where required
