Management Accountant

Overview

Albert Bartlett, a market leader in the potato industry since 1948, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Management Accountant, you will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial data that empowers management to make informed decisions. • Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to monitor performance against targets
• Working closely with department heads to support financial planning and decision-making
• Reconciliation of ledger accounts and investigation of discrepancies
• Continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified
• Experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices
• Experience in P&L, balance sheets, reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
• Working hours:
