Position: Higher Clerical Officer - Pharmacy

The Role

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised administrator to join the Cancer Care Pharmacy team within NHS Lanarkshire. This is a key role providing essential administrative and technical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the cancer care pharmacy and aseptic service. As the first point of contact for enquiries to the cancer care pharmacy team, you will play a central part in coordinating workflow, supporting communication pathways, and ensuring patients receive their medicines safely and efficiently.
  • Based primarily at University Hospital Monklands, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality patient care.

What

  • Practical knowledge of office systems gained through SVQ
    111 or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an office procurement environment
  • Understanding of Standing Financial Instructions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Pharmacy within University Hospital Monklands.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday
