Production Operative; Wash Plant Backshift

This role involves working on the wash plant, ensuring potatoes are washed and prepared appropriately for production. Full training will be provided for this position.

Sunday 0900 – 1700;
Monday to Thursday 1700 – 0100.

£12.71 per hour plus 50p per hour backshift premium.

• Operate and monitor washing equipment to ensure potatoes are cleaned according to quality standards
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance of wash plant machinery to ensure efficient operation
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the wash plant area
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines

• No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit to handle standing for long periods and manual tasks
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work backshift hours reliably
