Albert Bartlett is a leading UK food manufacturing company. We are looking for a Production Team Leader to lead our backshift operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead and motivate a team of production operatives during the backshift.
    • Support team training, coaching and skills development.
    • Create a positive, collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
  • Production & Performance Management
    • Oversee production operations to ensure all targets are achieved.
    • Maintain workflow efficiency, making adjustments where necessary.
    • Ensure product quality meets company and customer expectations.
  • Safety, Hygiene & Quality Assurance
    • Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards.
    • Support quality control processes and expedite any issues promptly.
    • Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised work environment.
  • Problem‑Solving & Continuous Improvement
    • Respond to operational challenges and find effective solutions.
    • Use production metrics and shift performance data to recommend improvements.
    • Work closely with management to drive best practice and efficiency.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Act as the link between production staff and management.
    • Keep clear, open communication across the shift team.
    • Support smooth handovers between shifts.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a Production Team Leader, Line Leader, Shift Leader, or similar manufacturing leadership role.
  • Strong people‑management and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of production processes (food manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Ability to problem‑solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • A proactive, organised and hands‑on approach.
  • Willingness to work regular backshift hours.
