Connect Appointments is recruiting a Bakery Retail Assistant to join a busy bakery in Airdrie
.

Our client is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people and takes pride in making every customer feel welcome. If that sounds like you, this could be a great fit.

• Temporary position moving to permanent after 12 weeks
• 32.5 hours per week on a rota basis, between Monday to Saturday
• Shift start times of 7:30/8am, and finishing at 4pm
• A weekend off every three weeks on a rotational basis
• Paid at £12.75 per hour

• Welcoming customers warmly and assisting with enquiries and product recommendations
• Serving customers and processing transactions accurately using the till system
• Restocking shelves and fridges and maintaining attractive, well-presented displays
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the day
• Supporting stock management and organising stockroom areas

• A genuine warmth with customers and a natural ability to make people feel at ease
• Previous experience in a customer-facing, retail or hospitality environment is advantageous
• A reliable, punctual approach to work
• The ability to work well as part of a small, close-knit team
