Position: Mechanic and MOT Tester £30K-40K

Due to expansion we are looking for more MOT tester/mechanic.

You must have experience working within a garage environment. This successful and reputable independent garage currently requires a ‘Mot Tester / Technician’ to join its professional and established team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

* Providing excellent customer service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles for the following: MOT, service, maintenance and repair

* Keeping customers well informed, dealing with customers queries and advising customers of progress and additional work required

* Liaising with the staff to order relevant parts

* Making sure that the work is completed to a timely and high standard

* Inspecting (driving) repaired vehicles to verify repairs

The ideal applicant should be fully qualified with a minimum of 3 years garage experience. You must be a committed individual and a good team player with excellent personable skills.

You will hold a full UK driving licence.

We are looking for a good all-rounder to develop this garage further.

Wage is negotiable depending on experience.
