HGV Drivers

With operations based in multiple locations including Airdrie, Boston, Westwick, and Jersey, our commitment to quality and sustainability drives everything we do.

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Drivers to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting our products safely and efficiently across various routes while maintaining the highest standards of driving and customer service. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring timely deliveries and fostering positive relationships with our clients.

• Operate HGV vehicles to transport products to customers and within various company sites
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that vehicles are safe and roadworthy
• Complete necessary paperwork such as delivery documentation and vehicle checklists accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with loading and unloading of products as required, ensuring proper handling and care
• Maintain a high level of customer service during each delivery

• Valid HGV driving license (Class 1 or Class
  2) is essential
• Previous experience driving HGVs, particularly in the transportation of perishable goods, is preferred
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts, late nights, and weekends when necessary
• Hourly rate: £15.79/hour plus shift allowance
• 7 days over 14 rotational shifts available
