Experienced Staff Accountant at Vaco

Take charge of accounting processes with Vaco by Highspring as an experienced Staff Accountant. Lead month-end and year-end closes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.

This role requires 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting. You will handle journal entries, prepare financial statements, and conduct detailed variance analyses across a multi-entity structure. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and auditors while managing AP invoice processing and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare and analyze financial statements accurately

• Investigate variances, providing operational insights

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and auditors

• Support AP/AR reconciliations and ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience in corporate settings

• Strong Excel and ERP experience required

• Familiarity with project-based accounting preferred

• Ability to document processes and work independently

• Comfortable working under structured controls
