MNP seeks an Accounting Technician to support client needs through accurate financial reporting and audit engagements. This entry-level role focuses on bookkeeping, preparation of government remittances, and collaborating with the engagement team. You will manage client financial files while ensuring compliance with regulations and improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support audit and bookkeeping tasks for clients

• Manage accounts receivable, payable, and expenses

• Prepare client files and assist in budgeting

• Reconcile GL accounts and handle discrepancies

• Liaise with governmental bodies for requests

Requirements:

• Degree/certificate in accounting or related field

• Entry-level to 2 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of T4s and T5s preferred

• Understanding of accounting principles

• Experience with accounting software is a plus
