Brain Tumour Community Support Facilitator

As the Community Support Facilitator, your role will focus on directing support group meetings and assisting in discussions around various issues. You will be pivotal in helping members discover community resources, schedule guest speakers, and develop relevant topics for each meeting. Working alongside the Support Services Specialist, you will ensure all attendees' concerns are addressed while adhering to the group's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead support group meetings with a focus on member needs
• Assist in finding and utilizing community resources
• Organize guest speakers and relevant weekly themes
• Maintain the group's commitment to member rights
• Address individual member needs effectively
Requirements:
• Commitment to supporting brain tumour initiatives
• Strong communication and group facilitation skills
• Experience handling group dynamics and discussions
• Openness to training and continuous improvement
• Previous experience in support roles preferred
