In this Corporate Educator role, you will draw on your Registered Nurse expertise to foster a learning atmosphere that embodies Age Care’s principles of Trust, Respect, Quality, and Teamwork. Your work will focus on educating staff and families on critical topics in long-term care, ensuring that care standards consistently meet accreditation benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and conduct educational programs for caregiving topics
• Mentor staff through individual and group learning sessions
• Collaborate with community resources for best practice alignment
• Promote quality care in dementia, medication, and fall prevention
• Ensure adherence to required audit standards
Requirements:
• RN or Registered Psych Nurse registration with CARNA or CRPNA
• Minimum three years in continuing care or gerontology
• Experienced in education and quality management
• Familiarity with RAI and Dementia Strategy preferred
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing staff
