Long‑Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) – Durham District School Board

The Durham District School Board acknowledges that many Indigenous Nations have longstanding relationships with the territories upon which our school board and schools are located. Today, this area is home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island. • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning.

• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in positive standing
• FTE: 1.0
• Grade(s)/assignment: grades 9‑12 special education Practical Learning Program (PLP) class
• Tentative course codes (if known): K courses
• Secondary LTO Salary Range: $57,986 to $119,967/year (placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Salary will be pro‑rated based on the position FTE).
