Starting on September 2, 2026, the selected candidate will be responsible for teaching DCO 309 and COP 401. A successful background in equity and diversity is essential to enhance the school community. Applicants are required to hold certification from the Ontario College of Teachers, along with Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications and subject qualifications for the courses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach DCO 309 (two sections) and COP 401 effectively
• Create an inclusive and engaging classroom culture
• Collaborate with staff to promote student inclusion
• Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students
• Involve in extracurricular activities promoting student skill development
Requirements:
• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers is mandatory
• Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications required
• Specific subject qualifications for assigned courses
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive educational environment
• Past teaching experience preferred
