Make a difference at the Durham District School Board as a 1.0 LTO Science Teacher for grades 9-11. Foster student growth through engaging lessons and an inclusive classroom environment.

The position is a long-term occasion for the first semester only, focusing on Intermediate/Senior Science qualifications. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents and colleagues to enhance student development. Adapt your teaching methods to accommodate diverse student needs.

Requirements:

• Subject qualifications:
Science, Intermediate/Senior

• Ontario teaching certificate in good standing

• FTE: 1.0 LTO for semester one

• Criminal Background Check upon hire

• Salary range: $57,986 to $119,967/year
