St James C.S. is seeking a dedicated French Immersion teacher for a full-time LTO position starting September 2, 2026. The successful candidate will ideally possess certification from the Ontario College of Teachers along with the Junior Basic Qualifications and proficiency in French as a Second Language. Emphasis on inclusion and diversity within the classroom is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver French Immersion curriculum for Grade 6 students
• Maintain an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff to support student learning
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
• Communicate effectively with students and parents
Requirements:
• Certification in good standing from Ontario College of Teachers
• Junior Basic Qualifications for teaching
• French as a Second Language, Part 1
• Native-like fluency in French
