Teach Grade 7/8 French Immersion with DDSB, using FSL expertise and adaptive instruction to support student learning. This assignment is 0.5 FTE.
As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher, you will teach French language, History, and Geography. You will create an inclusive classroom, assess progress, collaborate with families and colleagues, and adapt materials for diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop curriculum-aligned lessons supporting student learning
- Assess progress and provide feedback for growth
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community
- Adapt methods and materials for diverse needs
- Ontario teaching certificate in good standing
- FSL qualifications for the assigned subjects
- Successful completion of the written French competency test
- Current vulnerable sector criminal background check upon hire
- Teaching assignment experience with Grades 7/8 French Immersion
