Supplier Quality Engineer
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality and industrialization activities within a leading aerospace environment for our client in Ajax, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong quality and manufacturing expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, technical setting.
You will be responsible for managing supplier quality processes, supporting product development, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, engineering, and procurement teams to drive quality, resolve issues, and support new program introductions.
As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
- Pay Rate: $40.00 - $46.00/hour (based on experience)

- Shift: Monday to Thursday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM | Closed on Fridays from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM

- Review and validate Supplier PPAP documentation for forgings and products
- Support suppliers through the APQP development process
- Manage supplier quality activities, including RFDC submissions and approval workflows
- Track and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs), concessions, and corrective actions (CAR/FAR)
- Collaborate with incoming inspection and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Support supplier investigations, failure analysis, and corrective actions
- Maintain and update inspection plans and quality data in SAP
- Manage quality notifications and reporting in SAP
- Assist with engineering investigations and supplier coordination
- Monitor and support supplier compliance, including notices of escape and quality reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant aerospace manufacturing experience)
- Strong experience in quality and/or engineering within the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of raw materials, forging processes, and aerospace standards
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes
- Experience with SAP and quality systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and CAD models (CATIA/ENOVIA experience is an asset)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
