Drive impact in the Central Canada region as a Senior Mining Planning Manager with Amrize. Oversee resource assessment, collaborate on mining strategies, and ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
In this senior role, you will lead a team of resource professionals focused on optimizing mining operations. Your responsibilities include managing annual reporting of aggregate resources, developing mining plans, and collaborating with various functional groups for seamless operations. Demonstrate your expertise by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and actively participating in geological assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and report aggregate reserves and resources
• Develop and implement short and long-term mining plans
• Collaborate with teams on operational support and strategies
• Lead geological investigations and build models
• Ensure safety compliance and address geotechnical risks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in mining engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years in mining or construction materials industry
• P.Eng or P. Geo certification required
• Proficiency in mine planning and geological software
• Strong analytical, project management, and presentation skills
