As a Mining/Process Engineering Co-op Student, you will work closely with experienced engineers on real-world mining projects. This opportunity spans mining, backfill, geotechnical, and process plant design, ideally suited for third- or fourth-year students in relevant engineering programs. You will receive mentorship, practical experience, and insight into how various engineering disciplines collaborate for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support engineers with underground layouts and backfill concepts
• Assist in laboratory testing programs for materials and aggregates
• Help with equipment lists and mass balance inputs for mining scopes
• Participate in field investigations for mining and infrastructure
• Maintain spreadsheets and engineering design markups
Requirements:
• Third- or fourth-year student in relevant engineering field
• Knowledge of mining operations principles is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Experience with mining software is desirable
• Valid driver’s license for site travel
