Join Intact as a Unit Claims Manager specializing in Accident Benefits.
This role offers a hybrid work model and focuses on leading a skilled team in dispute management.
As part of the Claims management team, you will take the lead in handling high-stakes disputes and resolving complex claims issues. This position demands a strong background in Accident Benefits and teamwork, encouraging professional growth and mentoring. You'll also engage in operational planning and maintain essential relationships throughout the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct a team addressing LAT disputes effectively
• Advise on complex claims matters and negotiations
• Contribute to business strategy development and implementation
• Motivate and mentor team members for continuous improvement
• Report on performance metrics and trends
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accident Benefits
• At least 2 years in a leadership role
• Relevant university degree or applicable training
• Familiarity with provincial claims legislation
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
