Support Aging residents with dignity as a Registered Practical Nurse s rewarding role entails providing comprehensive care in a supportive, collaborative environment.
As an integral part of a healthcare team, you will provide essential nursing services and supervise Personal Support Workers.
Your role will ensure that each resident's care needs are met effectively. Additionally, you will communicate important updates concerning resident health in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized nursing care to residents
• Guide Personal Support Workers in care delivery
• Liaise with physicians for resident health changes
• Contribute to shift reporting and information sharing
• Implement Age Care policies for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Experience in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing
• Strong knowledge of health care laws and regulations
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Maintain good standing with nursing professionals
• Dedicated to providing respectful care to seniors
