Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments for residents
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
• Lead and mentor healthcare professionals effectively
• Provide resident-centered palliative care services
• Collaborate on quality initiatives for improved care
Requirements:
• Current Nurse Practitioner registration with Ontario
• Heart Save Level CPR and AIS certification
• Proven experience in geriatric care
• In-depth knowledge of Long-Term Care Homes Act
• Capacity to handle emotional demands of the role
