In this role, you will implement nursing policies and provide direction to Personal Support Workers while ensuring adherence to the Fixing Long-Term Care Act among other regulations. Your expertise in geriatric nursing will allow for effective communication with physicians and timely action regarding resident care. Become an integral part of a supportive team focused on improving the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing protocols to ensure resident care
• Supervise and support Personal Support Workers
• Communicate with physicians about residents' health
• Participate in health team meetings and reports
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of care procedures
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses
• Strong knowledge of health care regulations
• Experience in long-term and geriatric care
• Team-oriented with a commitment to quality care
• Good standing with professional nursing associations
