$41,150 – $58,980 per hour
Shift Pattern: 12‑hour shifts; DDNN (subject to change)

ResponsibilitiesCritical Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurses will utilize the nursing process in the provision of patient care. CCU RNs participate as a member of the multidisciplinary care team, maintaining competence and professionalism relevant to current practice, completing nursing records, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Completion of Critical Care Nursing Certificate
- B.Sc. Nursing and ACLS, preferred
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current B.C.L.S.
- Experience in a critical or intensive care setting; or experience in an acute care setting such as medical or surgical program
- Demonstrated ventilator and haemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation skills
- Demonstrated conflict‑management abilities
- Proven effective organizational, critical‑thinking, prioritization, time‑management, problem‑solving and teaching skills
- Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintain Reflective Practice Standards as outlined by the CNO
- Ability to perform appropriately in emergency situations
- Physical capability to lift, turn, transfer patients manually and with assistance
- Epidural/PCA pain‑management skills preferred
- Must have a satisfactory performance record

The terms and conditions of employment are governed by the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and the Ontario Nurses Association (RN Bargaining Unit Local 051). Successful external applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months. All new hires will be required to complete a pre‑employment health assessment.
