Critical Care Registered Nurse Position

Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering is searching for a Critical Care Registered Nurse to join its team. This role will emphasize patient care for those in intensive medical need during 12-hour shifts.

As a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, you will apply your expertise in a challenging environment focused on high-quality patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include nursing documentation and service as a critical member of the healthcare team, driven by Lakeridge's values of compassion and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential care in the Critical Care Unit

• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions

• Complete comprehensive nursing records

• Exhibit conflict-management and teaching skills

• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed

Requirements:

• Completion of Critical Care Nursing Certificate

• Preferred:

B.Sc. Nursing and ACLS training

• Registration with Ontario’s College of Nurses

• Experience in critical or acute care settings

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
