Registered Nurse Educator at AgeCare

Become a Registered Nurse Educator at Age Care and lead impactful educational initiatives for quality resident care. This role is crucial in promoting a positive learning environment throughout long-term care settings.

In this position, you will leverage your nursing expertise to develop and implement training programs fostering best practices in various areas such as medication management and dementia care. Responsibilities span both corporate and site-specific education, collaborating with community resources to ensure all learning aligns with premium care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement effective training programs for staff

• Conduct mandatory education sessions for caregivers and families

• Collaborate with community supports for educational enhancement

• Lead instructional days and one-on-one mentorship

• Maintain oversight of educational compliance with standards

Requirements:

• RN or Registered Psych Nurse registered or eligible with CARNA or CRPNA

• At least 3 years in continuing care or gerontology

• Knowledge of RAI and Dementia Strategy preferred

• Experience in leading and developing care staff

• CPR instructorship is advantageous
