Position: Part Time Nurse at Extendicare
Become a key part of the Extendicare team as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse. This role emphasizes patient-oriented care in a supportive environment.

In this part time position, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing care to residents  responsibilities include managing assessments, administering medications, and facilitating family education. You'll play a vital role in enhancing care quality and ensuring compliance with nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned, patient-oriented nursing care

• Complete accurate resident assessments and documentation

• Administer medications and treatments safely

• Facilitate resident education and family conferences

• Coordinate nursing team assignments for effective service

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse

• Experience in long-term care or with seniors preferred

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
