This role includes working 12-hour shifts on days, nights, and weekends for approximately 8 months. Your responsibilities involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high professionalism per the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Preparing for cross-training in Pediatrics is essential, and the position demands adaptability and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide family-centered patient care in the Intermediate Nursery
• Collaborate with the Health Care Team as a cohesive unit
• Maintain competency and professionalism per College of Nurses standards
• Participate in cross-training for Pediatrics as required
• Fulfill other related duties supporting Women and Children’s care
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS and NRP certification
• Experience in acute care settings required
• NICU level III course completion or willingness to complete
• Proficient in breastfeeding support and developmental care concepts
